Waited months for appt and she didn’t even know why I was there. Told her my symptoms of which I’d had for a couple of years and she just told me it was stress and I should exercise more and sent me off with tablets and didn’t take me seriously at all. I asked what is causing the pain but she didn’t have an answer for me and for annoyed that the gp hadn’t given me these tablets. If the gp could give these tablets any did I wait months to see her. She could not have been less interested. Turns out I actually had ovarian cancer but this dr didn’t seem to want to help me at all.
I saw Dr Lilley in May 2020 to have uterine polyps removal. The polyps were particularly large and needed two sessions to remove. I found Dr Lilley and her team to be professional, efficient and friendly. I was very anxious and she and her colleagues made me feel comfortable and reassured. I would feel confident if referred to Dr Lilley again.
Seen Dr Lilley for the first time back in July, she agreed to go ahead with my very recent 3 weeks today to be exact TLH with bilateral salpingectomy due to fibroids and bicornuate uterus which the surgery was on 15th Sept 2025. Recovery has been smooth sailing and I’m very grateful for her and her team for the surgery and also having my life back on track so I’m able to do things I’ve missed out on for years. She was understanding, caring, professional and her team were just as much so. They told me everything I needed to know and reassured me on any questions I may of have prior to surgery and the pre op scans ect Dr Lilley wanted were all done promptly. I’d like to say a massive Thankyou to herself and her team for agreeing and doing the surgery, I’m so grateful to you all. Thankyou Dr Lilley and team.
