I came out of my consultation with Dr Atkari feeling totally downtrodden and tearful today. Whilst I accepted his diagnosis, his personal approach left a lot to be desired. I was not given the opportunity to express my concerns, he spoke over me, and was dismissive of anything I had to say. There are ways of dealing with patients, and in my opinion, this was not the way. We are human beings.
