Stay away from this „doctor“! You pay £300 for 30 minutes, from which 10 minutes are reserved for her dictating into her recorder. In order to get your blood test results, you have to pay another £300 to get them! Besides that, she‘s incompetent as anybody can be and has absolutely no idea what she‘s talking about! For example, for someone who‘s practising sleep medicine for 20 years, she had no idea that you can 3mg Melatonin prescribed in the UK. She made me feel as if I was absolutely nuts because she insisted that Melatonin is only available in 2mg and 4mg doses in the UK! Also, she doesn’t even know what she’s prescribing. She suggested that I’d take Nytol daily and when I mentioned that it’s an antihistamine, she looked at me as if I was stupid and scoffed at me saying „it’s definitely not an antihistamine, I don’t know where you even read that“ Well, on the website of Nytol it says: „Nytol One-A-Night contains a commonly used antihistamine called diphenhydramine hydrochloride“ But what would I know, right? She’s the one who „studied medicine for 16 years“ (which she will surely tell you during your appointment). Save yourself some money and peace of mind and go to someone else who actually knows what they‘re doing.
