I found this consultant to be completely lacking in empathy. He spend 2 of my 3 appointments wishing to argue with me about what I was previously advised by a different consultant, of which he was not present. Even spending 15 minutes scouring my notes, only to find the wrong consultant. He then blamed me that I had made him over run. When I tried to explain my frustrations and the situation I was in, I got a little upset, he tutted, rolled his eyes and spoke with my husband. After 26 years of hearing contradicting information and/or being fobbed off, I think he wanted me to take his word as given and ask no questions. Obviously forgetting that this is my body and I may want to know all the options, possibly even have an opinion on my treatment. All his correspondence is also very passive aggressive, personally i dont want this man doing any surgery on me at all.
