Mr Swinston’s bedside manner leaves a LOT to be desired. He imagines he more intelligent than his patients and his patter is patronising and unempathetic. He seems uninterested in doing more than controlling the conversation. Try listening, try feeling something and based on our experience, another profession. The communication we received was sorely lacking and what you said directly contradicted what were in medical notes. You jeopardised time and planning our last months, hours and weeks.
Dr Swinson arranged for me to have the opportunity of access to a treatment that has saved my life. I found him to be completely thoughtful and sympathetic. I am still here three years on from a very serious diagnosis. Thank you to doctors in general and Dr Swinson in particular. Forever grateful.
