I was seen by Dr. Barmby on 8 January 2026, having been referred by Dr. Iqbal, My first meeting with Dr. Barmby was very relaxed and informative. He explained the procedure, possible outcome and associated risks clearly and totally honestly. We had a good rapport and were able to share a similar sense of humour (that helps in such situations). The doctor performing the procedure and the surgical team were exceptionally professional and reassuring, I regret that I cannot recall all staff names here but a big thank you to all of you. It was a painless stress-free experience – thank you all.
I was seen by Dr. Barmby afterward and he explained the outcome and future treatment.
The whole experience from entering TAU floor E to departure was conducted in a friendly, caring and efficient manner. My sincere thanks here to the nursing and other staff who were able to put up with me with a smile! They know who they are.
My one and only disappointment was the absence of Mr. Tweeting and Mr (sir) Stammer in biologically shining white shirts with rolled up sleeves and the photo opportunity cameraman. Forgive me that statement – just remember CC0007 (extra 0 is a promotion.
