One of the most horrible human beings I have experienced in my life. I witnessed appalling behaviour to other staff members.
Should not be speaking with patients.
Dr Helen Curtis is not only excellent in her profession in so far, as her patient, I am able to judge, but she is an excellent and empathetic communicator. From my experience of Dr Curtis, the earlier two comments are simply malicious balderdash
Relieved to hear others have experienced similar issues. But why is this continuing? My daughter is a black student nurse who has enjoyed her career progression. though she is a beautiful independent woman now seeing her on her knees in tears broke my heart. This ‘’doctor’’ Helen Curtis needs a lot to answer for. Racism and bullying holds no place in today’s society.
Brilliant, thorough, compassionate, helpful and an absolute star.
I saw Dr. Curtis today. I am 74 years old and she is, without doubt, the most empathetic and compassionate doctor I have ever seen. She immediately put me at ease and involved me and my daughter at every stage of the consultation. She showed me the scans and what they meant, even reassured me on worries I had that weren’t part of her remit. I wish she was my GP.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of witnessing Dr. Curtis’s unprofessional behaviour towards a member of their staff, and I feel compelled to share my concerns and disappointment. This doctor’s behaviour was not only shocking but also entirely unbecoming of a medical professional.
During my visit, I observed this doctor berating and belittling a member of their staff, or a student, in front of patients and other colleagues. The tone and language used were not only disrespectful but also bordering on abusive. It was clear that the doctor was frustrated, but that is no excuse for such conduct. I found it distressing to see a medical professional treating their staff in such a degrading manner.
The incident not only affected the staff member’s morale but also created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere in the clinic. Patients, including myself, should not have to witness such unprofessional and unethical behaviour within a medical setting
