I was treated years ago by Dr Anning at Musgrove hospital, and then again recently at Torbay, and if possible the most recent time was even worse. I found her rude, completely uncaring, did not listen to me even though I have had this condition my whole life. She had no interest in what I was telling her, I found her to be even more arrogant than when I last saw her, felt completely unsafe being “cared” for by her. I have met many Drs and Dr Anning is the least compassionate and rude Dr I have come across, other people in the bay were of the same opinion. I was discharged by her without her even seeing me in 3 days, although the junior Dr I did see was far more competent than Dr Anning anyway. I genuinely worry for her patients that do not have the ability to advocate for themselves.
I have been under respiratory for over 15 years and met Dr Anning during a recent stay. I found her short, dismissive and uncaring. Usually I have seen very good respiratory Drs, I hope that Dr Anning was just having a bad week and that was why she was so unprofessional
Awful, worst Dr I have had the displeasure of coming across. Rude, incompetent and overheard her talking to another member of staff about another patient and she was being so derogatory.
Dr Anning looked after my mother, she was rough with her, did not listen to her or to any of our concerns. Very dismissive and judgemental, as a family we felt she gave us no support at all in understanding what was happening with our mother, we had no trust in her abilities to correctly treat my mother.
