Doctor Bala looked after my son when he was born at 26,5 weeks prem’. It was his first night on duty at Airedale General hospital, some 21 years ago. Matthew was born weighing just 722g but with the help of Leeds GI and skill of Dr Bala and his team at Airedale, Matthew is just like any other young man and is now in the Royal Navy. Thank you Dr Bala both my wife and I will never forget you.
