I had the unfortunate experience of being under Dr Kujreja for an extended period of time. Over that time she was rude, at times cruel, extremely unprofessional and did not follow NHS process. I was forced into useless procedures I did not want on threats of being left with no support if I did not comply even though these intimate procedures served no purpose in treating me, failure to follow through with my established care plan, refusal to discuss key areas of my care and condition and when I politely but firmly questioned this with a witness present, i was verbally assaulted by her. She then proceeded to, lie to staff about how she behaved. During my time under her, 3 different nurses advised ne to report her. She deliberately delayed my care through willful ignorance and negligence. The hospital failed to deal with my extensive complaint correctly. Ive never had to deal with such a cruel, unpleasant, dishonest and controlling dr as Dr Kukreja. She had no intention of helping or offering me any appropriate care. I have significant trauma from being under her. I would strongly advise avoiding this person at all costs. From day one sge treated me with nothing but disrespect and I spent yrs on eggshells because of the fear she instilled. It took her causing me a complete breakdown to find the courage to report her. My new consultant has been fantastic and confirmed Dr Kukreja was not following process, nor medical fact regarding my care when I discussed with them what id been through. They and their whole team have been visibly and verbally appalled by what I was put through. Thankfully I was able to get away. I saw other drs who worked alongside Dr Kukreja and they were equally poor following her lead.
