I am really going to miss this great auricle of Knowledge. I just got to learn that Dr Elkhalifa is leaving Salford Royal Hospital to Cleveland Clinic. It is a massive loss to Salford, NHS and the whole United Kingdom. Dr Elkhalifa is a great asset to NHS. I am so sorry to see him leaving. I wish him though all the best in his life. I might travel to Cleveland Clinic to see him and that will be my advice to all complex allergic patients to see him.
I would like to take this opportunity to comment on the care provided by Dr Elkhalifa, which is of a very high standard and exemplifies the values and behaviours of our National Health Service. His efforts in promoting excellence within the immunology service and beyond, his commitment to improving care by developing innovative ideas and implementing them in the hospital is a credit to him.
Dr Elkhalifa has always been going above and beyond; he always goes extra miles to help patients and staffs. He has implemented few great ideas that have had an impact on staff and colleagues. Some of his invention was the Drug Allergy app which I get to know about it recently.
Dr Elkhalifa is the role model for all immunologists and allergist in the United Kingdom and beyond.
I had issues with COVID 19 vaccines. I get to know that Dr Shuayb Elkhalifa has undertaken outstanding work in the context of COVID-19 vaccination allergic reactions. He led the immunology clinic for reviewing all the staff and patients who have developed suspected allergic reactions to COVID-19 vaccines. This work was on top of his daily clinical commitments. The Vaccination hub at Salford Royal Hospital has done amazing job across North care Alliance to get the COVID-19 vaccines to as many individuals as possible. I am so proud to be a patient of such an amazing consultant. Many thanks Dr Elkhalifa
Dr Elkhalifa has been missed by all patients in Manchester and beyond. NHS has lost a legend. I am really hoping to see him again.

I never ever saw such an amazing doctor like Dr Shuayb Elkhalifa . I had an excellent experience with Dr Shuayb Elkhalifa and would highly recommend him.
What impressed me most was the time he took to listen carefully and understand the whole problem rather than focusing only on individual symptoms. He explained everything clearly, went through the possible causes and treatment options in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure all my questions were answered.
Dr Shuayb is extremely knowledgeable in allergy and immunology, but at the same time very approachable, kind and genuinely caring. I never felt rushed during the consultation, and I felt that the decisions were made together with me rather than simply being told what to do.
It is reassuring to meet a doctor who combines clinical expertise with such a human approach to patient care. I left the consultation feeling listened to, reassured and confident about the plan going forward.
I am very grateful for his care and would not hesitate to recommend Dr Shuayb Elkhalifa to anyone looking for an allergist or clinical immunologist.
