Just had appointment for Monday cancelled due to illness
I have a cancer growing daily on my arm and told it is skin cancer by one consultant and two doctors and need to be off therefore was glad to have the appointment on Monday just within the 2weeks the doctors said I will be seen
How come I have to be delayed through staff sickness

Waited a total of 2 months from going to my gp to getting an appointment with Tapati to look at a suspicious lesion and a mole that looked like melanoma, when i entered his office he was rude and refused to look at a near identical lesion on my face because the gp didn’t mention it in the referral, despite he could clearly see it looking in his face, he refused to even acknowledge it which i consider to be unethical/inhumane, he told me to make another appointment with my gp to come back about it.

He then told me both the referred issues needed to be removed surgically and that he would make it an urgent appointment, i asked how long it would take to get the surgery and he told me 6-8 weeks, i decided it would be better to travel to thailand to get it looked at for care, speed and cost privately and put in a complaint about him to the nhs, the day after booking my flight they expedited the appointment to 22/08/25 im guessing due to the complaint, it is now 20/08/25 and i have already had the lesion and mole removed at a cost of £230 and lab reports have come back today after a week, the Dr i saw who is a specialist didn’t have any issues with checking my face in less time than it took “Tapati” to refuse to look at it and couldn’t believe the waiting times and treatment by “Tapati” i had experienced. AVOID THIS DR
